On monday I worked on my freelance portfolio, researching the role of a production assistant and the Broadcasting Entertainment Cinematograph and Theatre Union (BECTU) guidelines. We continued editing the footage and putting together the documentary, while discussing what other cut-aways we could do. We agreed that another trip to Upskill was essential however we had problems getting in contact with them.
On wednesday, Cara interviewed the mother of a former young offender while Chris and Adam went to Job Center Pluss.
On Thursday, we looked at the footage from wednesday and put it together. Cara also got cut aways, however we were unable to use them because of health and safety issues, as they were filmed from inside a car. I started designing some astons on MX Navi, looking at different banners and fonts most sutiable for our documentary.
