On monday we continued to put together the finishing touches to our pitch. I completed the graphs which showed the results of the questionnaire that i handed out, and researched more thoroughly our target audience and the style of our documentary so that i felt more prepared for tuesday. As a group we had a meeting and discussed the pitch and whether any small changes needed to be made over night. In the evening, i made changes to the treatment and emailed it to the group.
On tuesday morning i spent time putting together an information pack which included the questionnaire results, our treatment and the charts and leaflet produced by lisa. We rehearsed several more times before presenting our pitch to the lecturers. I feel we were well prepared and presented our idea well although the feedback showed that we were lacking in several areas, such as codes and conventions. Our idea was commissioned, however we have been given the opportunity to re pitch our documentary to boost our grades.
On thursday, John talked us through the grading criteria for the pitch in order for us to make improvements. In our group we added several more slides such as, research methods and results, and more detailed information on audience research.
On friday we continued to add slides to our presentation and do more research.
